Top Fitness Strategies: Shut Up And Hold On!

Hachimi good you do today I'm in the mood to hit someone in the eye, so I write. If this letter is related to you, so good! I hope they can do something about it!

We heard a little "tell people of their goals. Let others know what you are doing so you can be responsible." Lately I've been really thought about it, and while in the business, it may be true, but when it comes to fitness and health, I begin to think it sucks!


What I mean by this? Let me see if I can explain it because in my mind, that makes perfect sense.

How many times have you started a sort of plan or exercise program or perhaps a diet of some classes and tells others that you did? If you're like most people, probably a little. Why? Because everyone, whether you want to admit it or not, want to feel important. They should because there is nothing bad to feel important. Hey, if it makes you feel good, then go for it! I encourage it!


But here's the thing when it comes to physical health, and ... it's hard! For the purposes of today I speak stronger mentally, physically it's not so hard, right? It's hard to do anything to start an exercise program. It is difficult to go eat pizza and drink beer every night for a piece of lettuce and a gallon of water instead (insert some exaggeration here).


See if this sounds familiar: You decide to do something for their health, either training or diet. Anyway, you decide to do it and because you want to be liable (the "experts" will tell you that this is what to do), you're going to tell everyone you know. The first week, you have these muscle pains (called Amos, by the way) and laugh and joke with friends about it. Or, you are super hungry because this piece of lettuce How well your day takes you. And, are you joking with friends what you are hungry, everyone ... including you, to create a laugh out of it.


The first week, he tells everyone how enthusiastic they are and who is "really going to do it this time!" Then you get that first day of rest, day or cheat meal and go a little wagon. After all, you were so good all week, right?


Next week happens and maybe you're still in it, but does not feel as sexy as it was the first week. The workouts take too long, leading to the gym is a pain, that you forget to prepare the lettuce and water for lunch that day, etc. Mental self doubt begins to work things. You do not talk as much this week that you're hoping nobody will ask you questions about it.


Finally, another rest day or cheat meal a day. Even if you can not have done everything I had to do the rest still makes or trap because, you know, the program requires it and not want to go off calendar.


Suddenly, life gets in the way and you go this training, grab a burger for lunch, slowly return to your old routine. So I guess what happens with increasing frequency. A few weeks later, someone you have not seen in a long time wondering how "did not work the new program or a diet that works for you and ... so I decided to go in a different direction."


Have you ever experienced this or know someone who has?


Here is my point: You told people that the responsibility thing, you want to feel important, and you did. But now what? You will not continue and when someone asks about it, do not feel important and you start to feel down. It's not a good feeling, believe me.


Oh, there have been people who have not experienced what I have just described, and if ... great! You are the exception! We need to spread this kind of attitude towards all and keep up the good work! Also, if you are in a group where everyone does the same, which is totally different. This is called a support group, not a group accountablitly. (Well, at least in my book what it is). And I would urge anyone to join a support group!


But, if the above describes an experience that has had (and believe me, my hand is up on it too), so I'll tell you how to change it and do it well.


Are you ready? ... All you need to do is shut up and hold on!


What I mean, just I start and do not tell anyone what not! (Which is part of SHUT UP) His colleague / friend could not care about your training program. Why? Because it is yours, that's why! Or of course, they will fly belts and say good job, but then what? Actually, it's your business, not theirs.


If you are mentally strong enough to stick with your program, whatever it is, and changes begin to happen to your body, people will take notice and start asking about it. "Have you lost weight?" "His arms look bigger, you work?" There is no better feeling than having someone say things like that to you unawares! That, my friend, is the boost it needs to continue. (Part HOLD ON). These are the comments that you are looking for, these comments feed the ego and make you feel important, they will follow!
